Annie Jantzer

Power, presence and pipes for days. Annie Jantzer (pronounced yawn-sir) may bring a smile with her playfulness but doesn’t mess around when it comes to those sparkly vocals.  Her rich, warm and restrained delivery gets your juices flowing, as she displays deft control and tosses spine-tingling vocal runs around like it ain’t no thang.

The Annie J band, fronted by and featuring original music from Annie Jantzer, delivers a 60’s Motown and soul sound with a modern hip hop jazz spin. She performs with the Seattle Rock Orchestra, portraying musical greats across many genres in front of sweeping orchestral arrangements. She sings with Bucket of Honey– an often duo, sometimes full band neo-soul and R&B act. And she plays a mean flute.

Annie has collaborated, shared the stage or worked with the likes of Cedell Davis, Mike McCready, Allen Stone, Skerik, Barret Martin, Emily Westman, Andrew Joslyn, Blake Lewis, David Chen, Funky to Death, Marmalade and many, many more. Annie has performed as a part of Seattle’s Tribute to The Last Waltz, Tarik Abouzied’s Happy Orchestra, Hit Explosion, The Bushwick Book Club Seattle and countless other professional and music community events, groups and bands.
