Tekla Waterfield is a singer/songwriter based in Seattle.  She currently fronts an Americana/Folk/Soul band, Tekla Waterfield and the Sweet Nothings, and is in the process of recording her first solo album.  Tekla is very active in the Seattle music scene, including hosting a weekly open mic at the Bourbon Bar in Columbia City, performing solo at the SeaTac Airport as part of the Experience the City of Music project, teaching songwriting with STYLE, stage presence workshops with Rain City Rock Camp for girls, and providing backing vocals for various other bands/musicians both live and in in-studio recording sessions.
