Collaborate
We work as a team to make the sun bounce off the energy
So come with me

LYRICS HERE
—
Blue Dragons
Sing:
This is the sunlight… we let it rise
The sun gathers the energy of the day
But what if it could do even more
Let’s fix the world
Rap:
This is the sunlight, we let it go bright
Bringing the sun’s rays, days not nights
The sun’s stories start before you
The sun is incredible (just like you)
Look at all it can do
—
The Green Mustangs
We help the sun rise
so it can shine bright
I open my eyes
and then I find light
Us together
could make the earth right
We can prove them wrong
—
The Purple Giraffes
Fossil Fields, only pollute the earth
Soon to a point of no return
We carry the sun
We learn it’s worth
and birth a new light
—
Look at the sun
Look at all it can do!
We can have fun
So you can too
What if the sun could heat up the night
Rain and shine face toward the sky
—
Blue Sharks
We gather the sun’s rays on the brightest days
Inspiring ways to study the sun as it travels the shy
The sun has power that heats up earth and makes energy
The sun uses power on trains and ships,
So come with me

About the Book
We Carry the Sun

From the first human settlements to today’s modern metropolises, we have always relied on the sun for light, energy, and sustenance. We Carry the Sun traces the history of solar power from ancient south-facing villages to the Industrial Age and modern innovators; and from solar-powered steam engines to silicon solar panels.
