STYLE: Songwriting Through Youth Literature Education is the education arm of Bushwick Northwest, a 501(c)(3) arts non-profit. We deliver literature, music and songwriting to the Seattle community while delivering the next generation of musicians and readers.
STYLE’s main goal is to ignite students passion for literature through collaborative songwriting education.
We love our students! We love books! We love music! We love librarians! We love our teaching Artists! And we love delivering that passion to kids of all ages!
We are working to support all levels of the community. We want to show students passion in literature and music. We want to give classroom teachers the chance to see their students interact in an exciting new way. We want to show the beauty of the library and librarians. We want to show musicians the value of working in the classroom and give them the skills to do so.
