Music and Songwriting through Literature
Let’s collaborate together through the inspiration of books!
multi-day program for 30-45min classes (All grades)
STYLE will dive into the creation of a full-length POP song along with your students. This is a multi-day program that can happen over consecutive days or over weeks. We will explore Music production, Poetry, Storytelling, Verse and Chorus writing and performance. We can even bring some dance moves into the classes if you like. We can build the program and price it out just for you.
Music and Songwriting through Literature Includes:
- STYLE teaching artist(s)
- Performance of songs inspired by the book for each class
- Cross-curricular lessons in ELA critical thinking and musical concepts
- Discussions surrounding the book and how the relate to us
- Collaboration with professional Producers and musicians in the music industry
- Webpage for each class
- Creation of original song in collaboration with Teaching Artist and students
- Professional recording of each class’s creation (Mp3 download or email)
- Music video available on request
